Chip spreaders
A chip spreader is a road construction machine used to distribute stone chips or gravel evenly over a bitumen-sprayed surface, especially for surface dressing and chip seal work.
The catalogue sheet describes an electric chip spreader installed on the rear of a truck or by replacing the rear side door, with a geared motor connected to the truck battery and start/stop control. Dimensions and the 0.46 HP, 24V motor rating are printed on that sheet.
